About

Hello, dear ones.

I’m Bethany. Married to Eric. Momma to five precious gifts, 2 boys + 3 girls, ages 3 months – 8 years old.

I’m originally from Washington State, but was raised overseas in the Cayman Islands + Costa Rica. Once upon a time, I was an elementary school teacher. Then I got married, we grew our family through international adoption, and I began to be home with our littles. A couple years later, we added our two youngest daughters, and our home is full of happy children who have sticky fingers + mud on their boots + goofy grins.

We live in a 118-year-old farmhouse on 2 acres right in the middle of town, and we have three goats + 28 chickens. Most of my days are spent at home, teaching our children + reading + filling sippy cups + playing peek-a-boo + changing diapers + running our skincare business with Rodan + Fields.

We love to roam our backyard woods, stomp in the creek, and read under the fruit trees. You can find us at the farmer’s market in the summer + perusing the stacks at the library in every season. We love being involved in our community, welcoming others into our home, + getting new stamps in our passports. We’re big fans of bonfires + treehouses + sidewalk chalk.

We are committed to living intentionally + slowly with lots of margin + freedom. We love genuine connection, doing things scared, + encouraging those around us. We know there are gifts all around us { in the valleys + on the mountaintops + everywhere in-between } and we’re passionate about finding and celebrating them. We believe the most important work we can do is right here at home – on the couch, in the kitchen, on the patio, around the fireplace. Especially when we leave our doors open + pull up extra chairs to the table.

We’re so glad you’re here. Grab a warm cuppa + stay a while.
